Pasco Youth Haven

Program Philosophy:

 Youth Haven is a response to the growing number of young people that are falling through the cracks of today's world. Youth Haven meets the needs of today's youth in each aspect of their lives. We exist to serve all youth, all the time, without any one youth being left behind. As such, our organization provides services to young people that make a positive impact in their lives today, while providing them with hope that their lives can be better tomorrow. We advocate for, plan, develop, and implement services for youth that will enable them to live better lives today, while empowering them to face future challenges and lead successful adult lives.

 

 Youth Haven's goal is to make services accessible to all young people regardless of their developmental stage, individual needs, or spiritual beliefs.  Our program consists of seven different components, that once fully implemented will achieve a comprehensive level of service for all youth meeting their mental,  emotional, and spiritual needs.

Key Assumptions:

​

1-     Every child needs help in one way or another.

​

2-     Every child progresses at a different pace in their cognitive and emotional development.

​

3-     Some children may be at more than one stage of their development requiring different levels of service.

​

4-     Every child has unique needs that should be met, but often go unmet as they fall through the cracks in the system.

​

5-     No matter what their individual  level of development is, Every child shares 2 common needs Love and Acceptance
